It feels like having an advent calendar again as I start to count down the days till I open my calendar to bookings for Judith Hunt Photography for 2010. I have had a fabulous first year with lots of clients to thank for all your support and to everyone who has welcome me to the world of small business, including the women in business network. I feel that this year is going to be the best year of my life, not only in personal life but also in business. I have plan to venture into new opportunities and to work closely with businesses that will see photography as an integral and important part of their work.
A second reason I am counting down the days is my little boy’s first year in formal education. My Joshua is now in year 1. I can’t begin to understand how time passed me by oh so quickly, and I can still remember the day when he first gave me his first smile, or the day he first rolled over (oh that was such a big accomplishment at that time) and even the day we tried to make him take his first steps (Oh dear, he was too lazy to walk even after his first birthday). Not long to go and I will see my little princess go to her first day in school. I am enjoying my time of being a stay-at-home mum at the moment until I go full time with the business.
And with that I realise that we have been here for 6 years. I have come to love and treasure the times we have here in this town. I am very grateful that I have honed my talents in photography in this town and I have come to see it with different eyes. There are lots more to explore and capture that I plan to do so. I am putting together a photographic journal of our time here in Hedland and happy to say that it is coming along very nicely.
