I love the holidays, I love decorating and making fun stuff but this is going to be kind of different for us this year just because I have the shoots to do and get some cards ready and all and we decided to get some craft-a-day going just before Christmas, this is for the kids.

I am still busy, busy designing cards and getting the collection ready for this year but here are some of my favourites from the last year. Hopefully, I should finish with the rest by next week. Still deciding one for our card this year and I might attempt to get a family photo as well for that.

I am always on the lookout of the best product that will best represent my photography and with that any ideas to best showcase your images. So I bring you a few options on how you can best display your images at your home.

I love reading magazines and they differ from craft to photography but my favourite mag for home décor and interior designing would be RealLiving and I love all things lovely so here are some ideas for your wall.

collection packages + updates

Ok, after a few hours getting the numbers right, I finally got the packages down on paper but yet to make a printable copy to send in e-mails and add to my brochure. Things are starting looking up as well in the house after a couple of hiccups in the last week. I also have to sit down and think about the name for the packages and I thought it needed special and catchy name, so I came up with Just enough basic, Deluxe, and Designer packages. (yeah I know, I was feeling stylish today).

I thought that a basic package would be to have all the images in the gallery printed so that would be 20-30 images in 4×6 or 5×7 prints, plus 1 8×10 print as well as 1 (8) wallet sized prints costing $150. Deluxe is $210 and Designer is $395. Also to note that all my prices include shipping and delivery.

Available photoshoot dates are quickly filling up fast, and I am now taking some bookings in time for Christmas packages. Dates available are now in September and October. A few sessions in November and no sessions in December. I am in the planning stage of having a one-day mini shoot special in the next month or so, so keep checking out the blog for the dates.

I am so excited, after searching for the best deals and getting a collections ready, I managed to get in touch with a professional lab and opened an account with them. I have done some test prints of my photos to 5 different professional labs around the country to find the best option for my style of photography and processing as well as the best price. wall display {framing ideas- part 1}

I love storyboard or collages, they get to showcase mutiple photos that can tell a story or just say something about the subject in the photos. They can be printed and framed, matted using gataboard or artbloc, and even canvas. The possibilities are endless! These are long overdue so I am sorry if I have kept you on suspense, but here are the wall display options from previous sessions. WARNING: Photo overload!!!

I recently just got my own storyboard printed on lustre paper mounted with gataboard. You have the option to get in on 10mm board or go a bit bigger to 20mm. Mine is on 10mm gataboard. Sorry I’m no product photographer and too lazy to take it off the wall, so sorry for the poor quality.

Firstly, I would like to thank everyone in Hedland for really giving me a warm welcome to the business. I have been inundated with e-mails after I opened my portfolio building shoots and I have to say that I am overwhelmed with the response. Thank you, thank you and thank you. I am booked out since last month until May. I am taking a short break in June and will open for more sessions in July. And Mother’s Day is just around the corner, what better way to give a present, than the gift of memory captured. I am offering a limited number of gift vouchers for future sessions starting in July. I love collages and storyboard, they can be so fun and bright. Just like a ray of sunshine on a rainy day. I sound so poetic but really I love storyboard. They are so many to choose from and I can’t decide. Here are a few samples from the previous sessions.
