As much as I would like to write a full post as much as I can during the week, things have gotten in the way and my mind is just full of random things. Most of the things I needed to do in the last 3 days have been put aside to nurse a very throbbing and unpleasant pain in my abdomen but don’t worry I am much better now. As I go around the house, tidying here and there, and enjoying Monday holiday with the kids, I picked up the book I recently borrowed from the library, “Rich Dad, poor Dad”. I have read this book almost a decade ago and since my mind has been inundated with finance, budgeting and mortgage the last few months, I thought I’d re-acquaint myself again with the ideas in this book. It is a good read and in much, very encouraging especially if you seek financial security which I think many of us would like to be in, that is, financial security. So I thought I’d share with you the popular poem that was in the book which is also one of my favourites.
The Road Not Taken
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as fas as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads onto way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence;

We are overwhelmed with choices everyday from personal to business to finance. I remember this poem as I make some important choices for me and my family, and also just because I enjoy this literature.
