The weekend was fantastic. I have learned a lot and met a lot of like-minded photographers. We got to play with some lomography cameras and also went around Midland Atelier and got some photos of our own from our very own Holga camera!

I would like to give a shout out to FORM for organising the workshop. They are the best! So go to their website and unleash your creativity.

But first, let me go back three months before today; combined with the recovery, we were awaiting a much awaited change of work for hubby, and let me tell you, it was a long 8 weeks ever. The transfer that we meant to get (where A BIG Change would have been an understatement) didn’t happen after being up in the air, and hanging in limbo for a long time. But the good thing is, I believe that all things work together for the good of those who trust in Him! and that good things will follow me, and it did. We are now making a new life down in the city of Perth.

The kids are enjoying that we are not down here just for holiday but actually living here now. It is actually taking a while to sink in, especially with the kids but I am excited to the changes that are coming our way for I know it is the best for us.

As for my photography, I am excited to introduce Judith Hunt Photography to the Swan Valley!

As many of you already know I am a big believer in Jesus Christ. I have the privilege of receiving God’s promises, all that He had promised to those who believe in Him. But only a few months ago that I realise that the only one blocking these promises in my life is me.  If I am to receive his wisdom, power, authority, understanding, peace and anything good in my life, I have to freely open myself to these gifts. 

My passion in photography and seeing beauty in everything and around me is because I have accepted His gift of talents and skills as well as patience and wisdom in honing this talent. 

That is why I do not oppose anyone learning this skill from me, if you think I have something to give, even the littlest thing, please don’t hesitate to ask me through e-mail and I will do my best to answer you. 

I am all about giving because the One who knows me gave me so much already and is still giving me abundantly more than I can imagine. 

I am not receiving any more bookings from Port Hedland for the rest of the year and I thank everyone sincerely from the bottom of my heart for all the support and business you have given me in the last two years.

The destination is not so much important as the journey itself.

I know very well that when you don’t get enough shut eye, we are transformed into this zombie-like, dazed and out-of-this-world kind of person that even the tiniest annoyance gets escalated to full power. Well ok, I try to get enough sleep as I can but I’m a night owl so I am at my best at night and being a mum means I have to be up early the next day to get everyone ready. But the trick is that even with littlest time, deep sleep should be the aim and I am happy to say that most nights I can achieve that. (Just ask my dad when he came home one night and forgot the keys to the house and ended up outside for the whole hour trying to wake me up from my window — back when I was younger and this is after being so tired from school — well that’s my excuse).

In the next week, we are off to the city to get some sleep test done — not to me (of course) but to my son, hoping to get him to get better concentration at school since he seems to be tired even being asleep at 7.30 pm every night. (I am sure since I check them in their rooms after bed time). I will be away for the next two weeks so please be patient if I don’t get to answer your queries sooner than expected.

And a post is always better with a photo. Here’s a photo I shot of Tara when I first got my camera, at 1600 ISO and nothing but the light from the hallway. Sweet!

Also, I will like to congratulate M & S from the maternity session below on the arrival of a gorgeous baby boy. Congrats guys! I can’t wait to meet him.

So whilst getting me in tip-top shape, I have gotten myself this little beauty and I am having great fun playing and learning all about this. I love Diana. I love lomography! Really dreamy and romantic.

It looks like a toy and really feel like a toy when you use it because of all the plastic but its great, fully manual and so different from the digital SLR.

I pounced on each of our wardrobes (leaving Chad’s to another day!) and cleaned out clothes that have not been worn for a while or have gone smaller to wear. I scrubbed every tile on the floor until they are all shiny and cleaned the grouts out (I know, a really big burst of energy for this one). Only for things that are coming have I got myself giving the house a complete make over. After next week, I will finally, finally undergo my tonsillectomy (which is over a year in waiting), so I know that I would probably be able to get at least a week of rest. I will try to be online as much as I can but no work until the end of April.
